7 Tips To Get The Most Out Of Your iPhone

7 Tips To Get The Most Out Of Your iPhone

The iPhone is undoubtedly the most beautiful and feature packed phone available on the market today. To help you get the most out of your iPhone here are a few tips and tricks;

1. Avoid Scrolling

When you are browsing an internet page, instead of scrolling all the way back up, tap the top of the screen once and it will automatically return to the beginning of the page.

2. Insert a Word in the Dictionary

When you are writing a note and the auto speller erroneously identifies a misspelled word (whether it's an e-mail address or an internet acronym) you can have the word inserted in the iPhone's dictionary by canceling the correction 3 times. Now you can write rofl or wtf as much as you want.

3. Bigger Keyboard

When you are using Safari to browse the web, tap the address bar to bring up the on screen keyboard. Flip the iPhone horizontal and the Safari window as well as the keyboard will switch horizontally which will give you a bigger keyboard making it easier to reply to your favorite blog or forum.

4. Set A Home Destination

If you use the iPhone maps application you may find it inconvenient to always re-enter your home address. Instead you can use the bookmarks button to bookmark your address along with other addresses you may frequently need to find.

5. Take A Screenshot

To take a screenshot of your iPhone's current display, hold the power button and the home button simultaneously. You can find the screenshot picture in the camera folder.

6. Silence An Incoming Call

If you want to silence an incoming call simply press the sleep/wake button. Alternatively you can also press it twice to send the call directly to voicemail.

7. Reset Your iPhone

If your iPhone starts acting up a good reset might be in order. To do so hold the right and home button simultaneously for approximately 7 seconds. Push the top button to power the iPhone on.
