Apple Inc. has released a software update for its iPhone aimed at improving its connection with faster wireless Internet networks.When the iPhone 3G went on sale July 11, Apple also released free iPhone 2.0 software that allowed new and older iPhones to run hundreds of business programs, games and other applications.
